Gardening during coronavirus

Hi everyone, this is just an update you on the latest plans at Olive Tree Gardens during these challenging times. As you may be aware, government guidance is that tradespeople can continue to work. However our priority is ensuring ours and your safety,  and that of the wider population by minimising

any opportunity for the virus to spread. With that in mind we have shifted to a way of working that allows for zero physical interaction between staff, clients and suppliers, and I wanted to share this with you.

  • We are restricting all interaction with clients to over the phone

  • We have secured an extra vehicle so now staff work individually, out of their own vans, with zero interaction between them. No staff have to travel on public transport.

  • Staff disinfect any surfaces they touch when they arrive and leave a property, such as gate handles and taps

  • We only interact with suppliers via deliveries and use only our own, rather than rental, tools and equipment

  • Any staff showing symptoms to remain at home

By putting these measures in place, we believe we are one of the few small businesses that can continue to operate in complete safely, and we would love to do so and carry on working rather than shut down and rely on state support. I hope this helps to put your mind at ease, but of course, please do get in touch if you have any queries.
